Hullabaloo is a 2D hand-drawn animated steampunk film that hopes to help preserve the dying art of 2D animation. We want you to join us in making a short film that will showcase the world of Hullabaloo. In addition to helping save 2D animation, Hullabaloo aims to encourage girls to explore science and adventure. The film’s two protagonists are both young women and both scientists who use their intellect, wits, and courage to fight greed and corruption. We hope that Veronica Daring and her friend Jules will serve as positive role models for girls of all ages and encourage them to get excited about science, engineering, and sci-fi.

For more information about Hullabaloo, its creators, and how you can help bring this story to life, visit here! Their goal is to reach $80,000 by October 1st, 2014, so every donation helps and help spread the word!

All my dolls are barefoot because I can’t justify spending the same amount of money on dolls shoes that I do on people shoes.

I’m the exact opposite. $50 for dolly shoes? Sure thing. Time to buy shoes for myself? It better be BoGo at Payless…

I just figured out that one of my YO-SDs fits really well into Barbie clothes. She looks so adorable in some of them, and I’m so happy to finally have a doll that’s cheap and easy to buy clothes for!

My Dollzone Nyu fits barbie clothes. I love it, its like a cheat code! So many styles available :D

bjdconfessions:

Am I the only one who thinks it’s awesome when I find a doll super similar to mine? When I stumbled on a doll with the same mould, name, and similar characteristics I just thought “that’s so cool, his owner and I must think alike!” I don’t like flat out copying but when you find someone by coincidence with a very similar doll it’s like “look their kind of like twins!”

I love it when that happens!

It makes me think we could be friends :>

One of the things that really irks me, and that I see often, is a male doll dressed as girl with a disclaimer (or a reply to a comment) saying “yes this is a BOY. but him dressing like a girl is the point because he is MTF!”. Just WHAT. If your character identify as female, then you should refer to it as such.
I sure hope you don’t do the same with real trans* people.

Oh my god, thank you.
One of my dolls is a MtF transgender, she is on a male body, but I never tell anyone or even put it in her bio description. She’s a girl.
